Police in Guthrie police are treating the shooting of an actor during a Western-style gunfight re-enactment as an accident. The actor, who has not been identified, was shot in the leg during a performance in a territorial Christmas celebration, officers said.

The shooting was caught on tape.

Guthrie police want to know how a real bullet ended up in the show and where it came from.

"It's mangled, and from, you know, hitting him and then tumbling down the street, but our firearm instructor's looked at it he said he couldn't determine which gun it came from, so, you know we'll just continue with the, the interviewing witnesses,” Guthrie police Lt. Mark Bruning said.

No arrests have been made in the case.

The victim's injuries are not life threatening, and no one else was injured.
