HOUSTON (AP) A federal appeals court denied former Enron Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Skilling's request to remain free pending his appeal Tuesday and ordered him to report to prison immediately.
The order came a day after the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals had postponed the date on which Skilling was to report to a low-security federal prison in Waseca, Minnesota.
Skilling will be serving a 24-year sentence on his conspiracy, fraud and insider-trading convictions.
