A three car accident in Coweta sent four people to the hospital Tuesday morning.

It happened around 7 AM on Highway 51 and 137th Street.

Coweta Police say two trucks were in a center turn lane when one hit the other. A tire came off of one of the vehicles, hitting another vehicle and sending it into a spin.

One person was transported by medical helicopter; the other four were taken by ambulance.

There is no word on their conditions.
