A Tulsa landscaper is fighting for his life after he nearly drowned in a client's pool Monday afternoon.

The man was working near the pool area when he lost his balance and fell in. Tulsa Police say he was wearing a heavy leaf blower on his back and the equipment could have weighed him down for sometime.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Rex Mann: "Nobody actually witnessed him fall into the pool. They were busy in the front lawn and also leaf blowers make a lot of noise so they didn't hear any splashing. Somebody went back there and saw him in the pool and tried to pull him out of the pool."

At last check, the victim was listed in critical condition at a Tulsa hospital.
