ORU wins Mid-Continent volleyball title

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Oral Roberts rallied to win the Mid-Continent Conference volleyball tournament championship by beating Valparaiso 15-12 in the fifth game of the title match.
The win Saturday gives ORU an automatic berth in the upcoming NCAA tournament. It will be the ninth time the Golden Eagles have played in the NCAA event.
ORU won the first game against Valparaiso, then lost the next two before winning the final two.
Ori Zuzic of ORU received conference tournament most valuable player honors. ORU moved to 26-8 this season with the win.
Valparaiso had won the Mid-Continent tournament each of the last three years.
