NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Don't expect too much insight into Toby Keith's life from his role in the new movie "Broken Bridges."

The Oklahoma native and country music singer says he's wound tighter than his film character.

In the movie, Keith portrays a fading country star named Bo Price. Kelly Preston, Lindsey Haun, Burt Reynolds, Tess Harper and Willie Nelson also star.

"Broken Bridges" premieres Thursday at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and opens in select theaters nationwide Friday.

The premiere will be presented via satellite to more than 100 movie theaters across the country. It also will be shown at military bases on seven continents, including screenings in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Iraq.
