OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A Kansan and a Tulsa woman died in separate accidents over the weekend.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Loren J. Saindon of Great Bend, Kansas, was riding in a pickup truck when the driver fell asleep near Perry and crossed the center median. Troopers say the truck rolled and partially ejected Saindon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, Earl Davis, and two others were taken to a Perry hospital for treatment.
Saturday morning, Tina L. Armstrong was driving east on U.S. Highway 64 near Stone Bluff when her vehicle ran off the road, swerved and rolled three times.
The 34-year-old Armstrong was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the 2:20am accident.
The patrol says she wasn't wearing a seat belt.
