OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz quarterback Craig Strickland is calling it quits after six seasons in Arena Football League Two.
The Midwest City native spent three seasons with the Tulsa Talons and three with the Yard Dawgz. He's the most prolific passer in the league's history, leading the league in pass attempts, completions and touchdowns.
The 30-year-old played in 50 of the 51 games in Yard Dawgz franchise history. He played high school football at Carl Albert and then at the University of Texas-El Paso.
The Yard Dawgz will honor Strickland's accomplishments at the 2007 season opener.
