OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A man charged in the stabbing death of an Oklahoma City motel employee pleads guilty to first-degree murder.
Joseph Anthony Cavanaugh was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday to life in prison without parole by Special Judge Carol Ann Hubbard.
Cavanaugh was charged with the December 2003 slaying of Louis Anthony Portune.
Both men were employees of the Bricktown Guest Suites Motel. Cavanaugh was accused of stabbing the victim 22 times.
Cavanaugh was arrested in Florida two weeks after the slaying.
