OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Colleges in Lawton, El Reno and Oklahoma City are getting grants to help improve economic development in their regions.
The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education says Redlands Community College will get 170,000 and Cameron University and Oklahoma City Community College will each get 100,000 dollars.
Redlands will use the money to help improve the grape-growing and wine-making industry. Cameron will help businesses in southwestern Oklahoma find new markets for their products.
OCCC will use the grant in its program to train and instruct workers in manufacturing, engineering and technical jobs.
