A 9 year old Stilwell boy will make a court appearance, after being accused of threatening classmates with knives.

A hearing is scheduled Tuesday for the third grader, who's charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Prosecutors will ask an Adair County judge to order the boyâ€™s parents to keep him from handling weapons of any kind.

Authorities say the boy was involved in incidents where students were threatened with a knife and a teacher allegedly found pocket knives in the boy's desk.
