OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A group meeting in Oklahoma City to work toward stopping illegal immigration was met with a group of 50 protesters.

The state director of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps says the group met yesterday to form regional chapters and outline future projects for Oklahoma. Among their goals are educating the public about immigration laws and trying to stop Oklahomans from hiring illegal immigrants.

Some protestors accused the minutemen of being racist.
