The News on 6 has new details about a Claremore dairy cow's positive test for rabies.
A cow from Swan Brothers Dairy in Claremore tested positive for the virus last month. There was concern unpasteurized milk sold from the cow contained rabies, so 95 people who drank it were put on a regimen of vaccinations.
Tests on the milk are back and show it did -not- contain the rabies virus. No one who drank the milk ever became ill.
