One man is in the Tulsa County jail after taking Tulsa Police on a short, high-speed chase.

Officers spotted the man driving south on Garnett at speeds topping 100 miles per hour.

The driver was stopped a short time later at the Bristol Park Apartments near 44th and Garnett. He was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

The man told police he only had a couple of drinks and thought he was going the speed limit.
