NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Courtney Paris scored 25 points and had 20 rebounds while twin sister Ashley Paris added 20 points and 23 rebounds as Oklahoma beat Oklahoma Christian 107-to-44 in an exhibition game.
Leah Rush scored eight straight points as OU put the game away with a 12-to-1 run to close the first half Thursday night. Rush finished with 15 points.
Tasha Turney hit a free throw with 14:43 left to end Oklahoma Christian's scoreless stretch, and her basket 24 seconds later ended a field-goal drought that lasted more than eight minutes.
The Paris twins combined for 27 points and 20 rebounds in the first half and scored all of O-U's points as the Sooners outscored the Eagles 16-to-10 in one first-half span to build a 23-13 lead.
OU outrebounded its NAIA opponent 65-to-27.
Lauren Decker scored 14 points to lead Oklahoma Christian, and Turney scored 11.
The Sooners open their season November 11th against Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the preseason Women's NIT.
