OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Labor Commissioner Brenda Reneau says she plans to seek re-election and won't seek the 5th District Congressional seat if it opens up.

Republican Congressman Ernest Istook currently represents the 5th District, but says he's leaning toward running for governor against Democrat Brad Henry in 2006. If Istook jumps into the governor's race, it would likely set off a series of political dominoes within the Republican Party with candidates lining up to seek his open seat.

Reneau says some of her supporters have encouraged her to consider a run for Istook's seat, but she says she loves her job as Labor Commissioner and wants to keep it.
