Wagoner County prosecutors say they'll ask for the death penalty against a man accused of fatally shooting his wife.

Stacy Shoemaker was found dead in April at her home in Wagoner. Relatives including the couple's 7-year-old daughter found her body.

Investigators first thought she was the victim of a break-in. But officers later arrested Colbert Dene Shoemaker.

He told police he accidentally shot his wife during a fight over a gun.
