A man accused of abducting and trying to extort money from Garth Brooks' ex-wife will stand trial.
28 year old Quintine Harper was working for Sandy Brooks and living in an apartment in her barn. In April he missed a court date and bondsmen showed up to take him into custody. Witnesses say he pointed a gun at Brooks and forced her to drive off.
Sandy Brooks says after a few miles, she turned into a convenience store parking lot, jumped out and ditched the keys.
Harper is charged with kidnapping for extortion and pointing a firearm.
