FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) _ Former University of Tulsa tight end Garrett Mills signs a four-year deal with the New England Patriots.

The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Mills is a versatile player who can play fullback, tight end and H-back. He played in 50 games during a four-year career at Tulsa and finished with 201 receptions for 2-thousand-389 yards and 23 touchdowns.

His reception and yardage totals both rank second in NCAA Division One history.

Financial terms of the deal signed Tuesday were not disclosed.
