OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The winner of a $600,000 Powerball prize claims his prize.
Lottery officials say John May of Oklahoma City purchased the winning ticket at Break Time Five in north Oklahoma City.
May matched all five Powerball numbers from the June 24th drawing to win $200,000. But because he selected the Power Play option for an extra dollar, he increased his winnings by that night's multiplier number, which was three.
The payout after taxes was $426,000.
The Oklahoma Lottery also announced today that the winner of the $101-million Powerball from the June 17th drawing still has not contacted the lottery. That winning ticket was sold in Broken Arrow.
