OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An office administrator for a northeastern Oklahoma district attorney's office pleads guilty to two perjury counts.
Artest Keeter was ordered by Oklahoma County District Judge Fred Doak Tuesday to serve two suspended five-year sentences and pay $2,500 in fines. He worked for the District 27 DA's office, which covers Adair, Cherokee, Wagoner and Sequoyah Counties.
He was indicted by a multi-county grand jury that investigated former prosecutor Janet Bickel, who was indicted in January and faces a hearing in August on perjury charges.
Bickel was accused of testifying falsely under oath that she never purchased, received or otherwise obtained an illegal controlled dangerous substance for her personal use.
