FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Kelly Minissale's RBI single sent home the winning run in the Golden Eagles' 4-3 victory over Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
ORU will now play Oklahoma State today in the winner's bracket game, with Arkansas taking on Princeton at two p-m.
Yesterday's loss for Arkansas was its third straight -- its first three-game losing streak of the season.
Oral Roberts pitcher Sean Jarrett, who took the mound in the seventh inning, struck out three and gave up only two hits in five innings to pick up the win, raising his record to seven-and-one.
Arkansas reliever Charley Boyce, who pitched just one inning, took the loss to fall to three-and-three by delivering the pitch that Minissale hit in the eleventh to score the winning run.
