One of two suspects is sentenced after a bizarre syringe attack a year ago in Bartlesville.
Richard Kasiah plead guilty in Washington County District Court to attacking 72-year-old Catherine Brant while she was working alone in a Bartlesville vacuum store.
Brant says Kasiah and another man beat her with a rod, strangled her, then injected her neck with lighter fluid and "Drano".
The judge handed Kasiah two life sentences this week.
Brant's family is relieved. Catherine’s son Mark Brant: "So we don't have to worry about him hurting Mom or anyone else as far as that goes, it'll be a long time before he's out."
Catherine Brant is still healing from her wounds, and she thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
