OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A student at Darnaby Elementary in the Union Public School District is the winner of a statewide poster contest to emphasize playground safety.
Jessica Shenoi is the grand prize winner and her drawing will be featured on the cover of the 2007 playground safety calendar.
Other winning posters will be included inside the calendar.
Other first-place winners are Bailey Loweth for Arrow Springs Elementary in Broken Arrow in the first- and second-grade contest; Andrea Pineda of Banner School in El Reno in the third- and fourth-grade division; and Amy Yearta of Park Lane Elementary in Broken Arrow won the fifth- and sixth-grade division.
The winners will be recognized during a ceremony at the state Capitol next Tuesday.
