Search warrants shed new light In the investigation of the man accused of kidnapping, sexually assaulting and killing 10 year old Elizabeth Wagoner last week.

10 year old Elizabeth Wagoner's face is that of innocence. Tulsa Police say that innocence was shattered when she encountered a killer.

Records show when Elizabeth's body was found near her home, there was blood on her face and legs, a thin braided rope tied around her neck and her head was wrapped in duct tape. Seeing her, has shaken even the toughest of homicide detectives. Tulsa Police have already said a fingerprint taken from the duct tape, matched Daniel Johnson, a man who is in the Tulsa County jail without bond, awaiting charges.

The search warrant shows Tulsa Police recovered a DNA sample from Johnson as well as two t-shirts and a pair of jeans from his bedroom hamper. They believe he might've burned part of the victim's clothing, so they recovered a metal button, a zipper and a burned piece of fabric from his fireplace, a pornographic magazine, plus duct tape pieces and an empty role of duct tape from his garage.

Records show Johnson admitted he caused the victim's death and used his minivan to dump her body behind a strip center near 21st and Sheridan.

The second search warrant was for the minivan. Detectives were looking for hairs, fibers and evidence, specifically the victim's pants and undergarments. They removed carpet, the back seat, a blanket and a brown coat from the van.

Tulsa Police also turned videotapes into the property room, including the interview conducted by detectives with Johnson, as well as security videos from three nearby convenience stores. Detectives can't talk about any of the evidence recovered and they certainly can't comment about the one thing everyone wants to know, why? Why could or would anyone do something like this to a child.

Elizabeth's family and friends said good-bye at her funeral over the weekend. Prosecutors received the case from detectives Monday and are expected to file, murder, kidnapping and sexual assault charges against Johnson this week.
