WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- A search is under way in the Woodward County Landfill for the body of a boy who disappeared nearly four years ago.
Authorities are digging test holes to determine how deep they should dig in the search area for the body of Logan Tucker.
The boy was 6 when he disappeared in June 2002 from the Fort Supply area. His mother -- Katherine Pollard -- was charged earlier this year with first-degree murder in the case.
Woodward County Sheriff Les Morton says authorities received a tip about two weeks ago that Logan's body is in the landfill about six miles southeast of Woodward.
Logan was last seen June 23rd, 2002. He was reported missing two weeks later after sheriff's deputies were asked to check on his welfare.
Pollard has given different stories about his whereabouts including that DHS workers took him and that he went with her brother to either Vermont or Pennsylvania.
Officials say none of those stories are true.
