Work started today to improve a mile-long sidewalk from Lewis to Harvard on Tuesday.

Officials say the eastbound curb lane on 31st will be closed during the day and open at the end of the workday for the next three months.

Crews are fixing the sidewalk, replacing the driveway, and installing poles for pedestrian signals and ramps for people with disabilities
