UPDATE (10:55 p.m.): The McAlester Police Department has canceled its Silver Alert for missing 85-year-old James Crimmins. Crimmins has been located.

The McAlester Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 85-year-old man.

James Crimmins was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Sunday wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes and a watch near his home on East Madison Avenue.

Crimmins' vehicle is a maroon 2002 GMC Sierra with the Oklahoma license plate HOM581.

Authorities said Crimmins suffers from a heart condition that requires him to take medication. He also suffers from dementia.
