Repairs Begin on 41st, Riverside Splash Pad

Kids in Tulsa will soon have another way to cool off from the summer heat.

The River Parks Authority is making repairs to the splash pad at 41st and Riverside. The electrical vault, which runs the splash pad and keeps the water clean, was damaged during the state's historic flood last year.

They said the vault had to be specially made by a St. Louis company, and since it is so big, the repairs will take time.

A spokesman said it will be up and running in a little over 4 weeks.
