Broken Arrow 9-Year-Old Killed After Collision With Semi In Yukon

A 9-year-old from Broken Arrow was killed after a collision with a semi-truck in Yukon on Wednesday morning.

OHP said a 2020 Peterbuilt Semi was driving east on I-40 and collided with a 2013 Kia Sorento. The driver and two children in the Kia were transported to OU Medical Center where the driver remains in serious condition. The 9-year-old was pronounced dead at OU Medical Center.

The driver of the semi was treated and released and the semi passenger was uninjured.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the collision.
