Muskogee Police Investigating Fatal Shooting

Muskogee Police say a man is dead after he was shot by his step-son on Monday.

Officers responded to the shooting call near the 2500 block of Margaret Lynn Ln just after 10:30 Monday night. According to investigators, 36-year-old Joshua Woods was involved with a domestic fight with his wife when his 17-year-old step-son intervened by shooting Woods. Police say Woods was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time, officers say the is an ongoing investigation.
