EMSA To Sue Ambulance Staffing Company

EMSA is suing the company that staffs its ambulances.

In the lawsuit, EMSA said American Medical Response, or AMR, has failed to pay more than $16 million it owes to EMA as part of its contract.

While EMSA owns things like ambulances and equipment, AMR provides the paramedics and EMT’s who respond to calls. EMSA said emergency services will not be affected during the lawsuit.
