Governor Stitt Nominates New Secretary Of Education

Governor Kevin Stitt has nominated Ryan Walters to be the new Secretary of Education. 

Walters is the CEO of an education organization called “Every Kid Counts Oklahoma.”

He also taught high school history in his hometown of McAlester.

Walters will have to be confirmed by the state Senate.
