Volunteers Pick Hundreds Of Pounds Of Sweet Potatoes At The Botanic Garden

Volunteers for the United Way Day of Caring showed up at the Tulsa Botanic Garden to help pick hundreds of pounds of sweet potatoes.

The Botanic Garden planted the sweet potatoes back in the spring and plans to donate them to organizations that can get them to people in need.

They estimate the harvest will bring in about 500-800 pounds of sweet potatoes.
