Congressman Mullin’s Son Finishes Rehab After Traumatic Brain Injury

Congressman Markwayne Mullin said his son has finished rehab after a traumatic brain injury he suffered in January.

Mullin’s son, Jim, was injured in a wrestling accident. He’s been in rehab at a facility in California.

Mullin said his son went from being an elite athlete and learning at a high school level to a third-grade learning level. He said his son lost his motor skills and has severe short-term memory loss.

Now, his son is headed home.

“Something they said would take two to three years he did in nine months. That’s very exciting. God is good,” Mullin said.

Mullin also thanked everyone for their love, support and prayers.
