Man In Custody After Muskogee Shooting Leaves 1 In Hospital, Police Say

Muskogee police are investigating after they found a man with a gunshot wound at the Berwick apartments around 10 p.m. on Friday.

Investigators said they started searching the complex and found the accused suspect Elijah Chandler. Chandler was booked into the Muskogee county jail on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill.

According to officers, the victim was transferred to a Tulsa hospital.

His condition is currently unknown.
