Minnesota Man Sets Records With 1,990 Pound Pumpkin

A Minnesota man has set a record with something right out of his garden.

In Stillwater Minnesota, the local growers association held a pumpkin weigh-off over the weekend. The Big winner was Charlie Bergstrom with a 1,990-pound pumpkin.

Bergstrom is from farther north in Lancaster Minnesota He said it took 100 Gallons of water a day to grow the giant gourd.

according to Bergstrom for the last few weeks it was on the vine it grew 40 pounds per day.
