A convicted felon who, Tulsa officers say, threatened their lives, is out of jail on bond on Friday.
Tulsa Impact Officers arrested Andres Tovar-Horn after he was found with drugs and weapons inside his car, it was only after authorities brought him in for booking that they say, he threatened them.
According to officers, Andres Tovar-Horn was pulled over for an expired vehicle tag, when officers approached Tovar-Horn's car they noticed an open beer as well as a joint.
Officers said Tovar-Horn had to be removed from his vehicle after he refused to get out and that was when officers found a pistol in a hip holster. Officers said they also found a sawed-off shotgun and drugs in the vehicle.
While Tovar-Horn was being booked into jail, officers said that he threatened the other officers' families with violence and told officers that they were lucky he had not killed them during the traffic stop.
Tovar-Horn bonded out of jail late Thursday night and is expected in court next week.
