Sen. Lankford, Colleagues Author Open Letter Requesting Funds To Help Protect Non-Profits

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford, alongside fellow senators, have written an open letter requesting funding to help protect non-profits from terrorist attack. Senator Lankford, the co-chair of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, co-authored the letter asking the Appropriations committee to adequately fund the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

Oklahoma Senator James Lankford, alongside fellow senators, have written an open letter requesting funding to help protect non-profits from terrorist attack.

Senator Lankford, the co-chair of the Senate Bipartisan Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, co-authored the letter asking the Appropriations committee to adequately fund the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

The funding sent to the program is used to support organizations at risk of terror attacks. This includes faith and community-based non-profits and houses of worship for all religions.

Measures would include preparation and prevention planning and training.
