Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Wednesday.
.MODERNA VACCINE COMING: The Oklahoma Health Department will host a virtual Q&A on Moderna’s vaccine. Health officials will talk about the arrival of the second COVID-19 vaccine in Oklahoma starting at 10 a.m.
.TRAFFIC ALERT: Once again, I-44 will be down to one lane each way at the Broken Arrow Expressway until 6 a.m. and again Wednesday night, as will the Expressway at the I-44 interchange.
.DONATE & PLAY: You can help the Oklahoma Blood Institute and get an Andy B’s fun pass. The Bloodmobile will be there at 10 a.m. Then you can eat, bowl, play laser tag and more.
.SANTA ON ICE: It’s the last chance to meet Santa on the ice. He will be at the Broken Arrow ice rink at the Rose from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. There may be other characters there as well.
.RETURN TO YOUR ROOTS: Wednesday is “roots day,” a day to celebrate your genealogy. The unofficial holiday comes on a day that many typically head home for Christmas to be with their families.
.THUNDER TIPOFF: The OKC Thunder open their season in Houston Wednesday night. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. against the Rockets.
