Wednesday's Oklahoma City Thunder scheduled season opener was postponed after the Houston Rockets failed to meet the required eight players available due to COVID-19 contact tracing.
One of the players included was former Thunder player, James Harden, who was fined $50,000 by the league for breaking the COVID-19 protocols. The NBA has not yet released specific details about how he broke protocol.
The new season opener against the Charlotte Hornets is now set to start at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The Hornets are coming off a 121-114 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night in their season opener.
