Man Accused Of Leading Police On High Speed Chase Out on Bond, Police say

A Tulsa man is out of jail on bond on Friday, after authorities accused him of leading Creek Nation Light-horse Police on a high-speed chase on Friday morning. According to tribal police, Joshua Duckworth was cursing and spitting at people in a parking lot at the River Spirit Casino. When authorities tried to arrest Duckworth, he fled.

A Tulsa man is out of jail on bond on Friday, after authorities accused him of leading Creek Nation Light-horse Police on a high-speed chase on Friday morning.

According to tribal police, Joshua Duckworth was cursing and spitting at people in a parking lot at the River Spirit Casino. When authorities tried to arrest Duckworth, he fled.

Police say that Duckworth led officers on a chase down Riverside before moving onto Interstate 44. According to officers, the suspect reached speeds as fast as 140 miles per hour.

Tribal officers ended the chase due to the dangerous speed.

Tulsa police were able to catch up with the suspect a few hours later and take him into custody.
