Woman Uninjured After Falling Asleep While Driving, Crashing New Car

A woman is uninjured after crashing her car on the Broken Arrow Expressway around 3 a.m. on Monday.

According to Tulsa police, the driver fell asleep while driving east on the Broken Arrow Expressway and hit a rail near 129th East Avenue.

Officers said that the 20-year-old driver had just gotten the car as a Christmas gift.

According to police, the driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

Police added that the vehicle is likely totaled.
