Walmart Looks To Start Using Drones For Order Delivery In Arkansas City

The future of deliveries is soaring to new heights.

Walmart has applied to start delivering orders by drone in a small city close to Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Planning Commission for Pea Ridge, Arkansas will take up the application Tuesday night.

Last fall, Walmart announced it would begin drone delivery trials for groceries and household products with California-based company Zipline.

Amazon and UPS also received FAA approval last year.
