Tulsa Restaurant Receives Thousands Of Dollars From Barstool Sports Fund

A national sports blog presented a Tulsa restaurant with thousands of dollars in donations.

Barstool Sports is selling merchandise to raise money for small business owners around the country. It selected Coney Island in Tulsa.

The manager of Coney Island said with the extra money, she can keep her loyal staff.

“My manager Joe has been with us for 45 years, my guy that makes my chili, 20 years,” operations manager Vicki Economou said. “We’re just so appreciative for whatever we can get, and we’ll use it towards whatever.”

So far, the Barstool Fund has raised more than $22 million to support more than 100 businesses.
