Tulsa Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Suspect In Connection To Fatal Shooting

Tulsa Police arrested a man they say is connected to a shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex that left the suspect's friend dead.

Police said the two men were committing a crime when one of them was shot and killed.

Police arrested 22-year-old Corban Payne after a standoff at a Tulsa home Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, Johnny Dean was killed after an altercation on Monday, Jan. 11. Police said Payne did not shoot the victim, Dean, and that the shooting suspect used a gun to defend himself while Payne and Dean beat and robbed him.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
