Tulsa Police say a lieutenant is no longer on the force Thursday, after arresting him on a felony charge for attempting to intimidate a witness in a case.

Tim Lewandowski was charged with misdemeanor domestic assault in December of 2019. He was placed on paid leave.

In March of 2020, he was charged with misdemeanor violation of a protective order. That's when police moved him to unpaid leave.

Court records show he is now charged with attempted witness intimidation, which is a felony.

Tulsa Police arrested Lewandowski on Monday, and said he resigned from the department.

He has since bonded out of jail.
