A devastated Sand Springs family is speaking out after a father killed his two teenage girls, then killed himself.

"There's no words to express what they meant to me. I want people to remember Clarissa for her faith, and Grey for her love of life,” said their mother Teresa Kaser.

Clarissa and Grey's family said they were beautiful souls, who were full of life and mature well beyond their years.

"Clarissa, she was one of the kindest people I've ever met. She was always so happy. She would give somebody the clothes off her back. Grey, they were just so fun. They were really happy. They loved life,” said their brother Kenan Kaser.

The family said the two were best friends. Clarissa had a passion for church and spent most of her time reading her bible. Crystal, who went by Grey, loved art and hanging out with their friends. They were two innocent children who had their whole life ahead of them.

"They were some of my best friends, and now I won't get to be the big brother they deserved, I won't get to experience them growing up,” said Kenan.

The family said they may never know why David Kaser did what he did, but they say that's not the man they knew.

"He was under a lot of stress and I think he just snapped. There's no way to understand it,” said Teresa.

"He just lost it. We can't explain it, but we will have to come to peace with it,” said Kenan.

The family said the constant support from friends and even complete strangers is helping them get through this.

"Trying to make this my new reality is almost impossible,” said Kenan. “They get to live on through my memories."

A GoFundMe has been set up to support the Kaser family.
