The border between the United States and Canada will remain closed to non-essential travel until at least April 21, 2021.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reported that officials on both sides said it is too soon to reopen the border because to the threat from COVID-19.
The border between the two countries has been closed a year as of March, 2021.

The border was originally closed at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to non-essential travel.
