Tulsa Firefighters Respond To Apartment Fire Near I-44, Lewis

Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene of a fire that broke out at the Lewiston Apartments near I-44 and South Lewis Avenue on Wednesday morning. According to officials, a caller reported flames coming from a downstairs apartment just after 6 a.m. Emergency crews arrived on scene and evacuated the unit and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. Fire officials said that everyone was able to get out of the apartment safely, but crews did have to go back in to save a cat who was unharmed.

Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene of a fire that broke out at the Lewiston Apartments near I-44 and South Lewis Avenue on Wednesday morning.

According to officials, a caller reported flames coming from a downstairs apartment just after 6 a.m.

Emergency crews arrived on scene and evacuated the unit and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
